From Tiger Tales - A Who's Who of Hull City AFC (1904-2000) by Mike Peterson, Yore Publications, 2000.

"Previous research into  the career of Andrew Raisbeck suggested a link with QPR and Liverpool before joining the Tigers shortly after their creation as a professional football club in August 1904.

Subsequent research has provided no confirmation of his QPR period but records show that he joined Liverpool at the end of their League championship season of 1900/01.

He made no first team shows during his four year stay at Anfield but he walked straight into the first team at City missing only a handful of games and in their inaugural Football League season he was ever present. He had a clear preference for the left flank and was adept at either left-half or outside-left where he operated with seemingly effortless ease. His good distribution skills were an asset in either role and he could  "...give as good as he got in the tackle" in the opinion of one commentator of the time.

After he left the club, his trail went cold and the general opinion is that he emigrated - probably to Canada."
